Blood Collection & Lab Work
For 2sLGBTQIA+ folks who are in need of blood collection and lab services, Queer Yukon provides clinics at our space in Whitehorse.
How to access this program
Clinics are held twice a month from 9-10am on the second Wednesday & last Monday of the month!
This service is by appointment only.
Book your 15-minute appointment spot in advance using our booking link. Unfortunately we cannot offer drop-in for this service at this time.
You will need to bring your lab requisition form from your Yukon Health Care Provider & Yukon Health Care Insurance Plan card.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a Queer Yukon staff member who will ask for your name to confirm your appointment. They will then bring you to the lab professional or show you to the waiting area.
At your appointment, you will need to provide:
name;
date of birth;
A health care card number (YHCIP #), and
A requisition form provided to you from a health care provider.
