Our team is dedicated to improving the health and mental wellness of Yukon’s 2SLGBTQ+ community. We partner and work with primary care providers and offer support services to improve access to safe, relevant, and adequate healthcare.

Services we offer


Immediate Services

Emergency (Fire, Police, Ambulance): Call 9-1-1

Suicide Helpline: 9-8-8 (24/7 A safe space to talk, 24 hours a day, every day of the year).

Trans Lifeline: Canada (877) 330-6366 US (877) 565-8860 (A trans-led organization that connects trans people to the community, support, and resources they need to survive and thrive.)

Hope for Wellness Helpline: (855) 242-3310 (Available 24/7 day to all Indigenous people across Canada. Experienced and culturally competent counsellors).

Yukon Sexual Assault Service: 844-967-7275 (24 hrs/day)

Kids Help Phone: kidshelpphone.ca/urgent-help (Canada’s only 24/7 national service offering bilingual (English and French) professional counselling, information and referrals and volunteer-led, text-based support to young people.)

VictimLink: 1-800-563-0808 (Crisis support for anyone who has experienced violence, 24 hrs/day)

Health Clinics

For 2SLGBTQIA+ folks who are in need of blood collection and lab services, Queer Yukon provides clinics at our space in Whitehorse.

We are partnering with health care professionals and providers to offer safe, comfortable clinical spaces for queer and trans folk to access expert care and services.

Harm Reduction Supplies and Education

Our Dawson City drop-in space offers harm reduction supplies along with education and training on how to use them safely.

2SLGBTQIA+ Health Navigator

Our 2SLGBTQIA+ Health Navigator service for our queer and trans community - and the healthcare providers and family members who wish to support them - makes understanding and accessing healthcare simple and stress-free.
